I’ve been working in a “business casual” office atmosphere for about two months now, and I’m starting to not hate it. In past jobs with more creative work environments, I relished in the freedom to dress in whatever I wanted: leggings, funky jewelry, long comfy cardigans, colorful jeans… lots of cotton :) But, I’ve found that there’s something energizing about donning a fancier ensemble each morning. I feel a little more “together” and ready to tackle the day’s to-do list.
Though I do like getting dressy, I’m getting tired of looking at my super boring white collared shirts. I live for white collared shirts because they go with just about everything in my closet, but I need to change it up. I think it’s time to work the peter pan collar trend into my wardrobe. Their tailored design makes them office appropriate, but their color, fabric, and (yes!) embellishment make them fun.
Bonus: you can call yourself Tinkerbell whenever you wear them.
